Rangitoto Island

Rangitoto Island is a dorment volcanic island in the Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand.

Spent a great day hiking around to MacKenzie Bay on Rangitoto Island today.  The day was warm but the sun was hiding behind clouds so the humidity was pretty high.  We did not climb to the summit for the views back to Auckland city.  the views that we did get walking westward around the island were stunning.  Great to have such a beautiful place so close to the city.
