During my two week Spanish language immersion in Quito meant two hours every day exploring Quito with a teacher.  Or should I say a local guide.  It was great to be able to speak the small amount of Spanish in the real world.  I have to say that I am still learning and will probably be learning five years from now. Also on weekends we headed out of Quito to the surrounding districts.

Each afternoon we would set out from the school to new and interesting sights given the limited time frame that we had.
